# Staking

The Staking dApps offered by Zeknd enable users to engage in staking activities in a user-friendly and intuitive manner. Users have the option to become validators by running their own nodes and participating in block production and validation. Validators play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and security of the network by proposing and validating new blocks.
